Dr. Sibylle Emerit is scientific coordinator at the IFAO in Cairo. She will report on her musico-archaeological studies on three wooden harps which were discovered during the DAI’s excavations of the years 2002-2005 in Dra’ Abu el-Naga. Their remains were found in three shaft-tombs located in the area around the pyramid of king Nub-Kheper-Ra Intef. The lecture will be preceded by a short introduction by Dr. Daniel Polz (DAI).
