A show by Vincent Warin and Pierre-Jean Carrus - Cie 3.6/3.4
A bike on a stage, that makes no sense. For a bike, a stage is both vast and exiguous. There are limits. One goes round and round in circles, draws lines, does not get anywhere.
Conceived as a series of small theatre plays, the show by Vincent Warin and Pierre-Jean Carrus explores the movements of the body and the bike on stage: a bike set to music, to light, to movement, to space, and into pieces, in a poetic, dreamlike and playful circus show.
The scenography builds on the compositions of John Cage, Gérard Grisey, György Ligeti and Régis Campo to create a playful dialogue between the sounds and the rhythms of the music and the bike.
