Egypt Green Building Council, (Egypt-GBC) and Regional office for Arab States of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, UN-HABITAT, invite you to attend the Arab-African Forum for Green Building,[AAFGB], which will be held in Cairo, Egypt, 17-19th December, 2013.

The forum is one of the special events organized by UN-HABITAT in the preparation of “Habitat III Conference 2016”. The focus for Habitat Conference III in 2016 is “sustainable urban development”. The forum is expected to discuss the post-2015 UN development agenda and sustainable development goals which aim to provide a more holistic guide to international and national policy making than that provided by the MDG framework.

The main objectives of the Forum would be key considerations in shaping the global development agenda and developing a Strategy and Action Plan for countries of the Arab-African region that will foster and promote the greening of building and construction activities.
