The NUT Trilogy,
Part III "Inside-Out"
You don’t choose your destiny, it chooses you.
A monster’s fight to survive, and live to kill again.
A woman willing to fracture her own soul to protect herself.
A child’s struggle for innocence, despite life’s cruelty.
A wandering man looking for a ray of light in his darkest hour, when the world seems
lost.
A religion that is far too fragile to exist.
The Trilogy is entitled NUT after the Egyptian goddess of the Sky and Stars and a member of the Ennead of Heliopolis. It is a Trilogy focusing on issues of gender in Egyptian society.
The emphasis of The NUT Trilogy is on the feminine side of Egyptian society, which has been oppressed for decades now. Over thousands of years, Egypt has shifted from being a matriarchal society to a patriarchal one. In modern day Egypt, men have usurped this authority and dominate all aspects of social, cultural and religious.
