Mission Statement
The decision to establish the Supreme Council of Culture was made in 1956 under Article No.4 to create an independent body affiliated with the Minister's Cabinet. Its mission is to coordinate the efforts of governmental institutions working in the fields of art, literature and to unite these efforts.
