The “Big Data, Big Questions: From Data to Knowledge in the MENA Region” conference will offer a space for multidisciplinary, critical engagement with questions around knowledge and big data in the MENA region. We hope to engage many types of participants, from students and young professionals, to established data-experts and academics from the MENA region.

The conference will encourage a collaborative and open spirit that equally values contributions and engagements from all sides. This conference is organized by the Academy of Liberal Arts’ Common Reading Program, the Center for Excellence for Middle East and Arab Cultures, and the Access to Knowledge for Development Center.
