Jazz is based on a strong connection between movement and music - and we use it all through the class. Starting with a dynamic warm up followed by kicks, turns, jazz hands, small jumps, big jumps, connecting with the music, expressing and mostly having fun.
After a long intense stretching we'll play with choreography. Think Bob Fosse, Liza Minelli, Chicago (and all that jazz).

Anamaria Bagariç:
Is a modern ballet dancer, Ashtanga yoga teacher and a travel enthusiast.
Her dancing path started as an IDO competitive dancer (show dance, jazz, disco and street dance) - placing 1st on a national and 2nd on a European championship with a jazz solo Happy End, in 2011. During her years as a competitive dancer she was performing as a jazz dancer with a group of dancers called the Dreamgirls. The group had many tours around Slovenia and neighboring countries and performed on National television on several occasions. In the same year she was studying in an Academy of Dance in Ljubljana, getting familiar with more dancing styles - classical ballet, horton, limon, contemporary - and got accepted into a modern ballet company Kjara's Dance Project, where she worked on several projects (Compassion, Crossroads, Tryptih). In search for new ways of moving, she started taking yoga classes and found Ashtanga. In 2014, she was studying in an intense program in Mysore, India and has been practicing and teaching since.
