Free Trial Baking session

Thursday May 5th from 11:00am – 1:00pm

About the Session:
The session will start with a little introduction the instructor for just a minute or two. Followed by a little information about nutrition and challenges related to it and a little about short crust pastry.

After that we will do a savoury pie, it will be chicken and cheese pie. Pie crust filled with chicken chunks cheese eggs milk and vegetables.

we will do a sweet pie as well, it can either be a moist peach pie or a vanilla cream pie .. the first pie will have fresh peaches first slightly cooked and mashed and then baked with a vanilla custard sauce whereas the second is more interesting with a touch of cinnamon and vanilla in the filling which is a white chocolate mousse pipped into the pastry shell and finished off with cookie crumbs. 

About the Instructor:
Mrs Sumaira Arif. 
Completed Masters in Food and Nutrition and worked as a Nutrition teacher in a school. 
Have cooking experience of over 15 years. i conduct baking classes at my house as well. 
i will demonstrate the making of short crust pastry and discuss various points which we need to keep in mind while making it. 
i have created another scrumptious dessert which uses short crust pastry.
