The French Institute in Egypt has the great pleasure to launch the call for application for the 13th edition of the Young Creators' Festival, which will take place at the beginning of March 2015. Since 2003, the Festival aims to promote new creations by young theater practitioners in Egypt.

For the first time, this year edition will include two categories:

*IN COMPETITION*

- The play should not have been shown previously. Exceptionnally, plays which have already been shown in a premiere can be accepted.

- The proposed play should be based on a published text.

- A focus will be made on projects proposed by young professionals and students.

In addition to several awards, some of the winners will be invited to take part to the 2015 edition of the Avignon theatre festival.

*OUT OF THE COMPETITION*

On the occasion of this 13th edition, the French Institute wishes to explore the richness of the genre and opens its doors to creations presented by professional companies, in the margin of the competition.

*HOW TO PARTICIPATE*

Send your application by the 25th of December 2014 at the latest.
