Want to learn the basics of Contemporary Dance? Register for a 10-week Beginners Contemporary Dance course with Anna Maria Suykerbuyk at Cairo Contemporary Dance Center

In this Contemporary Dance course, participants will learn the fundamentals of Contemporary Dance. The class will consist of a series of technical exercises to build muscle strength, flexibility and a deeper understanding of technique and the moving body. The diverse exercises are drawn from Yoga, Pilates, release technique, floorwork and Limon. In addition to working on technical aspects, participants will also explore creativity, musicality and flow through specific individual- or group-related exercises. Each class will finish with a choreographic movement sequence, challenging the mind to remember steps while working on elements learned during class.
