Allmann Sattler Wappner Architekten is an internationally operating company based in Munich. The architects’ practice currently employs 60 members of staff from eight countries working in a variety of teams under the leadership of the three partners, Markus Allmann, Amandus Sattler and Ludwig Wappner.


The architecture of Allmann Sattler Wappner Architekten has been commended on numerous occasions. Amongst the awards were the German Architecture Award, the Hugo Häring Award, the German Steel Design Award, the Lighting Design Award, the LEAF Award and the ECOLA Award.

He is one of the three Managing Directors of AllmannSattler Wappner architecture office in Munich.
Allmann Sattler Wappner Architekten is an internationally operating company based in Munich. The architects’ practice currently employs 60 members of staff from eight countries working in a variety of teams under the leadership of the three partners, Markus Allmann, Amandus Sattler and Ludwig Wappner.
The practice’s assignments encompass the entire range of architectural activity. In urban planning, public, residential and commercial buildings as well as work in the field of product design, the holistic design methodology embraces the entire process from draft to detail. The work is characterised by the search for a context-related dialogue, identifying with the surroundings at the same time as offering structural openness, appropriate consumption of resources and precision in the execution. Based on an integrated approach, the teams work closely together with engineers, artists and specialists from other fields.
He is lecturing at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich.
Beside his teaching activities he is a member of the committee for design of the City of Wiesbaden und frequently a member of competition juries.
