Wonderings: Playwriting Masterclass (Canada)

Because D-CAF is committed to the exchange of knowledge and providing the most in-demand trainings and workshops, it is pleased to have the critically-acclaimed writer Évelyne de la Chenelière in Cairo, bringing her film and knowledge to share with the audience.
Each participant will explore how to account for the transformation, erasure, progression of writing, and make the deletions and corrections visible. They are invited to create material out of their writing impulses and stammering.
This creation of “text-material” is meant to give sense and dimension to the participants’ writing. It is also a plea to detach from their writing habits by using their imagination to develop the “scenography of the page.”
