"Sustainable Education – Thinking Green on Campus"

Educational institutions and academia are often the leaders of and incubators for innovative thinking. As our physical environment, energy needs and resources change, these institutions have the opportunity to lead the way toward adaptation.

The 32nd Cairo Climate Talks will take a look at how both public and private universities are tailoring their curricula, infrastructure and environmental awareness in response to such changes. Public and private sector experts, educators and students will share ideas on a broad range of topics, including energy efficient and environmentally friendly campuses, sustainable degree programs and student engagement in environmental initiatives and awareness. From using recycled materials to hosting renewable energy summer camps, what are the changes, both small and large, that can impact universities and ripple out by educating new generations of green thinkers?
