Photovoltaic off-grid Systems – Introductory Course

The course provides the basics in the transformation and use of solar energy into electricity and through photovoltaic systems, and the technical knowledge and understanding to design and install small scale (<1000W) solar home systems. The participants will get an introduction in the solar energy potential in Egypt, the components and functionality of different off-grid PV systems and learn how to design and install small scale off-grid PV systems.

Participants need basic electrical knowledge (what is voltage, amperage, energy etc.)
