The Research Institute for a Sustainable Environment - RISE's training programs focus on practical on-the-job agricultural assignments, along with a collective comprehension of up-to-date theories. Our training facilities are located at The American University in Cairo (AUC) New Cairo campus and Sadat City Station. We are committed to providing high-quality practical training that would contribute to improving technical skills of labor force in the agriculture field.

In this training, participants will learn how to design and implement a rooftop garden in Cairo. Learn about different types of rooftop gardens, design a garden, and learn how to mix growing media, how to install a rooftop irrigation system and how to plant.
