Mohaned Nur’s first solo exhibition is a staging of flat photographic images in the space of Nile Sunset Annex. Inside the images themselves are artificial spaces that contain bodies and faces, posed, made up, and fitted out with modified clothes. Shiny computer-generated graphics contrast with exposed fleshy surfaces.
The show opens at 7pm on Saturday October 18, when we will also launch the publication for our previous show by Sarah Samy, a limited edition of physical objects, each slightly different, that will be on sale for a very reasonable price. Bring your own drinks.
