A movie from the very famous french director Henry-Georges Clouzot.
A mysterious murderer is commiting a series of crimes letting his business card on the bodies. The commissioner Wens finds a clue that lead him to Montmartre in a guesthouse, the Mimosas. He dresses up as a pastor and become a resident.
In in first film, Clouzot shows his dark vision of the world. The dramatic tension goes up and he describes his caracters in a really realistic way.
