L'Institut français d'Egypte et ses partenaires, ONU-Habitat et CLUSTER, ont le plaisir de vous inviter à assister aux trois journées de discussions et débats du colloque "La Fabrique de la ville durable - Regards croisés franco-égyptiens sur les enjeux de la gouvernance urbaine", organisé les 25, 26 et 27 novembre, à l'Institut français d'Egypte au Caire
Les échanges entre experts égyptiens, français et internationaux seront centrés sur les problématiques les plus saillantes de la question urbaine telle qu'elle se pose aujourd'hui en Égypte, et un échange autour des retours d'expérience français et méditerranéens sur les mêmes défis
La réflexion portera aussi bien sur les visions nationales des systèmes de villes et la planification institutionnelle des grandes métropoles, que sur les nouvelles dynamiques de l’étalement périurbain et les questions de l'hyperdensité et de l'informalité ; les discussions feront également une large place à l'exploration d'exemples concrets et innovants de co-élaboration de l'espace urbain

The French Institute in Egypt (IFE) and its partners, UN-Habitat and CLUSTER, have the pleasure of inviting you to attend the conference “Making the Sustainable City – The Challenges of Urban Governance in an Expanding Megapolis”, taking place on 25, 26 and 27 November at the IFE in Cairo
The exchanges and debates between Egyptian, French and international experts in attendance will focus on the most salient issues related to current urban conditions in Egypt, and on feedbacks from French and Mediterranean experiences relevant to these questions. The symposium will address the topics of national visions and system of cities in planning of the metropolis, new dynamics of suburban sprawl, as well as the question of densification and informality, exploring concrete examples and innovative solutions of urban regeneration models and inclusive public space
