"Bye Bye" Short film, 6 mins, arabic with english subtitles, 2012

In revolutionary Cairo, the filmmaker tries to let go of objects accumulated over generations. He films inside the huge flat that used to belong to his parents, with an interior that dates back from years preceding another revolution. How can he makes any decisions in these unsettling times? Familiar objects also have their story.

Paul is going trough a family album. Memories come back. He remembers parents and grand parents. Once again a familiar place have changed or do not exist anymore and very close relatives can be hard to recognize.
