3D printing is a growing a trend all around the world that will soon revolutionize the way we live. There are only a few units in Egypt, but this is changing. Be one of the first to experience the freedom to design, model, and print anything you want!

Next3Design will be presenting at icecairo the concepts behind operating, building, and maintenance of a 3D printer. The workshop will give you an overview of 3D printing, types of different printers, materials, and software (modeling & generating the required G-code & the User Interface).

Practical sessions will include building the frame, mechanics, and electronics. In addition, participants will be installing the software and understanding the different printer settings to optimize your use of material. By the end of this course you will know how to make you own 3D printer.

This hands-on 3D printing course can be taken by anyone! No previous experience necessary.
