Marina Rustow is Khedouri A. Zilkha Professor of Jewish Civilization in the Near East at Princeton University and the director of the Princeton Geniza Lab.
Rustow is a social historian of the medieval Islamic world whose work draws primarily on the unique archive preserved in the Cairo Geniza. She received a MacArthur Grant in 2015 in recognition of her groundbreaking scholarship.
