This Sunday we will be watching the first theatrical film, that was nominated for 3 Oscars, by director Sidney Lumet.
A 12-man jury is sent to begin deliberations in the first-degree murder trial of an 18-year-old man accused in the stabbing death of his father, where a guilty verdict means an automatic death sentence. One of the jurors casts a not guilty vote which starts a series of heated discussions about the accuracy of the almost unanimous verdict. The deliberations push for the unfolding of each of the jurors prejudices, backgrounds and sometimes wisdom and their effect on their final verdict.
